Plum Pediatrics - Rockwall

This pediatric office used to be Pear Pediatrics and was great several years ago, but slowly went downhill. Now they have changed names (without any notification to current patients) and they seem to be in utter chaos in transitioning paperwork over. They sent over incorrect bloodwork orders and I even received another patient's bloodwork order to my email! Bedside manners of physicians and nurses are not great either. The appointment felt more like an interrogation than an annual physical.

My guess is they rebranded due to all their previous bad reviews. Look up “Pair Pediatrics” on Google. Their new website shows that Dr Gari is still there and he is the Dr that I’ve had issues in the past regarding my child’s care. I can’t speak for the other doctors, but I post this in hopes that other Parents will not be fooled by the rebranding.

This place was amazing key word amazing! Its awful now. To the lady at front desk with checkered nails and curly hair you should check yourself. Didn't even stay for a visit. If I could give 0 stas I would. Horrible rude office staff.

I can certainly empathize with the issues the others have had with front desk and management but I’ve taken my children here since 2017 when it was Pear and it’s always been a great experience. Dr. Gari and Dr. Ryan truly care about the little patients they see and I will continue to place my trust for my children’s care in them.

I rarely leave reviews, but after months of frustration and today’s experience, I feel it’s important to share our situation for other parents who may be considering this office. Back in December 2025, we brought our youngest daughter in for an urgent appointment. When we arrived, we were told there was an issue with our insurance and that they would need to cancel the appointment. Because my daughter needed to be seen, I asked if we could self-pay. I paid $300 that day and was told that once the insurance issue was resolved, the office would reimburse $150. That was three months ago. I have followed up several times and was repeatedly told that the reimbursement should be coming soon. Today, however, I was told there were no notes in the system about any reimbursement at all.
