Pleasantville Animal Hospital

I have used Pleasantville Animal Hospital (PAH) for my older dog Georgia, now several times & the experience has been very positive. The staff is attentive & helpful - and she has been happy & well cared for each time. I have mostly used their boarding services, and they require all vaccines are up to date, and/or you will be charged for them to complete for you. I believe the price per night is fair based on this area, and would recommend to anyone looking for an option for short or longer term boarding options.

Dr. Sabatini and his staff are great. During our visits we get exceptional care and all of our questions answered. Recently my dog ate something that was toxic to dogs. The staff took her immediately and very attentive to my dog’s need. She is doing great because of the exceptional care. I highly recommend them for all of your pets needs.

Dr Sabatini is literally the best! As are all the people who work at the front and the vet techs. I never have to wait long for my appointment once I arrive, the dogs are at ease with everyone there (which is not the case with my pups and other vet offices) and he really takes the time to explain what is happening and why. He’s great. He also offers laparoscopic spay which was so much better compared to conventional spay for my German shepherd. Much faster healing for my girl and less issues vs my older GSD who had a huge opening, long recovery and infection issues from her traditional spay somewhere else. I moved farther and still make the drive to this office. They are the best!!!

Dr. Sabatini and his colleagues at Pleasantville Animal Hospital are caring, professional and understand their patients' needs. Our cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs have all been cared for here, and we wouldn't trust them to anyone else. "Exotics" such as guinea pigs are challenging to treat, but PAH and Dr. Sabatini have the knowledge, the care and the heart to help us do what is best for our animal family members. The facilities are clean, the waiting area is spacious and welcoming, and the exam rooms are excellent. Highly recommended to anyone that wants the best for their animal family.

We brought our 1 year old rabbit to the PAH first for a check-up and then a spaying procedure, and they were very friendly and attentive both times and throughout the scheduling process too. Dr. Sabatini seemed to know exactly what to look for and gave us peace of mind with some questions we had. Beautiful new building / location too and prices seem fair for high-quality service, especially for exotics which can be hard to find. Highly recommended!
