What a great place. When my Dad arrived there more than 2 years ago our family felt great because of how understanding and compassionate the whole staff was. That feeling has not changed. If there is ever a problem or concern, things get done and the response is right away. Anytime a question comes up, I call or send an email and it is resolved. My Dad is in a great place with my wonderful people both the residents and the staff. As they say, about every organization, when it is good or bad, it starts from the top of staffing and goes all the way down to all the others. Elena Vega-Castro the Administrator has been NOTHING less than understanding and helpful and that is carried down to everyone that works there. She sends out letters each month informing us of what is going on from

Do not send your loved ones here! This place is a nightmare. My grandmothers clothes all went missing on week 1. Her cell phone went missing a few weeks later! And now her purse and wallet are gone as well! We filed a police report! Every time we have gone to check on her she looks unbathed.

Do not let your loved ones go there! I have been in the medical field since I was 23, I am 41. My father spent a week sedated and on a ventilator. He was in the ICU in VT and then at CVPH. He has gotten better but not great and was transferred today to Plattsburgh rehabilitation and they ignored his medication orders and he had been telling staff for over an hour that he had to urinate. They told him no and then put one of those plastic urinals on his window sill just out of reach. I called CVPH to ask about his discharge medication and sure enough my father should have been getting nebulizer treatments every 4 hours. He asked for them and again was told no. I will do my best to get my father out of there tomorrow!

The Adult Day program is fabulous!! Patti, the director is the best and the nursing staff is compassionate and very helpful.
