My son was placed in Pioneer when I couldn’t lift him any more. The neglect was beyond horrible. My son was 100% tube fed. They had to feed him and provide water through his feeding tube. The oral care, more than once the hospital removed huge chunks of yuk from his mouth. The icing on the cake was when they called the police and accused me of giving him something when I there because he mentally altered. The hospital put a catheter to obtain a urine sample, he was bone dry. Dehydration will cause what they accused me of giving him something to result in his being mentally altered. He had a TBI and was missing part of his skull. I had never seen it so sunk in as it was that night. That same night that he was taken to the hospital was the same night that his bottom was raw. Rita in administration is a terrible, ego-driven person. Many staff have quit because of her and her attitude. This facility is roughly 95% travel nurses and aides and chronically understaffed. Ask anybody in town, they'll warn you about this place and that horrible woman. They are unable to keep residents safe and the building itself is dirty and smells. It looks like nothing has been ever been updated since the building was built in the 60s.

Each time we enter Kindred Nursing (Parkview) we are amazed at how welcome we feel and how it feels so much like home. The residents treat each other and each other's guests with respect and dignity. The staff are like friends to the residents and very accommodating to their needs. They go out of their way to be helpful and don't seem to feel the slightest bit inconvenienced at doing the same things over and over. The residents are helped to maintain their level of activity but not pushed to do things they do not want to do. Our brother feels so grateful to be in such a facility. He likes the food, loves the staff, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The bookwork is easy--they do it for us--as well as appointments, laundry, haircuts. We have always found it clean, a pleasant smel

The therapy seems to be great there, as my dad has made progress. The director of nursing, Jocelyn is rude, unprofessional, very impatient and quick to hand off any phone calls or questions to other staff. Many of the nurses have been friendly, but the few that aren’t, make the place feel uneasy and understaffed, and overall unprofessional. One nurse told me she couldn’t get me the updated status of my dad because she would have to “click to another screen.” Therapists try hard and do a great job on the rehab side, and he is making progress, I just wish the face of the organization and nurses were a bit more compassionate. The social worker does not call back and is also quick to pass the buck when issues arise. Overall, try not to ever have to have your family members here. You will

Poor poor service! If I could go back in time I would never of had my dad go here…..he wasn’t taken care of and was left unattended for hours….his bed was a make shift cot with a very thin mattress…..he was not feeling well and asked to be taken to the hospital and was denied ….after being out of their facility for 12 hours he was taken to Dillon hospital by ambulance then flown to Bozeman hospital and is now in critical care fighting for his life…….shame on them for not letting him go to the hospital when he asked when he wasn’t feeling right!!!! I hate this place!!!!
