Pinecrest Center for Rehabilitation and Healing

My mother was there this past month, although in the beginning things were pretty rough when she first arrived, all because it was something new for us all. The facility was really nice, and the nurses was VERY hands on!! However, I have to give a firm SHOUTOUT to their Social Worker Ms.Dawayna !! She was VERY HELPFUL, she was compassionate, respectful and most of she was patient, even when we were giving her a hard time lol. You don't meet people in the health care field that often that actually cares about your family as much as we do. She was really sweet and just haven sent, even once my mother left, we called multiple times and she still extended a helping hand setting up all my mom needs for when she got home. We were so grateful for Ms.Dawayna.

Filthy! I arrived to place my cousin here for two weeks. I did not leave him. The wheelchair to assist him out of the car was broken. There were dirty hospital gowns on the floor next to his bed. The bathroom had piles of fecal matter in the toilet and the bathroom floor was disgusting. While the staff was very nice, the facility was so gross there was no way I was leaving a loved one there.

I visited my stepdad and was very impressed, the gentleman at the check in desk was very friendly polite and helpful. The visiting area and the rooms are very clean with a fresh clean smell. I was extremely impressed with how friendly the staff was. They do a GREAT job!!

My mom has been here for almost 2 months & so far Pinecrest has been good. They have a great Wound Care Team Nurse Karen 😊 and Dr. Chaskin who is the Wound Care Doctor. Nurse Karen is friendly, patient and she takes her patients very seriously “ I hardly ever get to see the day time Nurse, because I work during the day. I get a chance sometimes to see the day shift nurse to get a quick report. I like that” Patient Care is very important in my eyes. All I ask that you all continue to provide the best care for all the patients. Thank you Pinecrest keep up the good work.

Jackie Gonzales took care of my sister Kathy and I during our stay at the PineCrest Rehab. Jackie was incredibly conscientious and provided us both with exceptional care. Thank you Jackie. We appreciate your help during this extremely difficult time.
