Don't even know where to start with this place, other than stay far away. I'll begin with the one pro, SOME of the nursing staff/aids seemed to really get to know my grandparents and became friends to them. Otherwise, it was hot as anything in the summer, constantly smelled like urine, and needs a major paint job or something. It was extremely difficult to deal with just about everyone at this facility, if you could even get in touch with them. You can dial their number and hit every extension for days in a row and never speak to a person. This is alarming, when you have loved ones at the facility and it's literally like there is no one there. Let’s be real. Like all Nursing and Rehabilitation facilities, there are always pros and cons, but Pine Forest is on the plus side. Administrator David is too notch to work with - very attentive to expressed concerns. Nurses are very caring as well, from Head Nurse Jackie to the everyone else I’ve met. Facility is kept very clean which is always a great plus. I “advocate” for my brother from a distance. As such, it can be frustrating at times, but I know that Pine Forest will take good care of him. My brother loves the food! - good job kitchen staff. Recreation staff have also been very kind to my brother, as have everyone…maintenance, social work, front desk, administration, and all! THANK YOU VERY MUCH all.

It’s a hard decision when your loved one has dementia and you can’t take care of them anymore. I have been very happy with the support team there, from the management of David Lider, Jamie and Michelle in accounts receivable. And the nurses aid team headed by Julia. Since my Mom has been there the place has under went some serious changes new paint, new floors, new beds and a therapy bird. I have gotten to know the people who work there, and the other patients. Would highly recommend.

If i could give lower i would. The woman Lisa at this facility has the absolute worst personality. She is nasty to deal with and does not know how to operate a facility. she needs to be reconsidered for the position she holds. find better help!

Our 94 year uncle spent his last month of life at Hilaire, and our entire family is grateful that he was there. Every single person at Hilaire, who dealt with uncle, in any way, knew his status, shared their knowledge with us, and made him comfortable and he was well cared for. Hilaire is not the newest,or shiniest nursing home, but it's cleanest friendliest and and most caring that we've ever seen. It was very much like being in a caring home, tended by professional caring staff. I can't imagine a more comforting place to spend the last phase of one's life, if you need to be away from home.
