Pikeville Medical Center Pharmacy

We picked up medication after an ER visit. The medicine was already ready and the pharmacy is essentially just right across the road from the hospital. I have noticed long lines before. The traffic flow can be a little confusing and in my experience it is hard to hear the attendants through the outside lanes.

If i could leave a negative review that would be wonderful. My grandson and I were unfortunate enough to get type A flu. Went to PMC pharmacy to pick up the meds and were told to return in 30 minutes 6 times. Well the last time I told the fellow who waited on me that I wasnt going through the line again I had already been through there 6 times totaling three hours, i would just pay for the meds (they were having problems with insurance). I totally understand computer problems BUT when an employee calls city police on someone just for asking to pay instead of using insurance well thats beyond the scope of understanding. Granted i have had the flue for a few days, felt like heck and I'm sure i looked a whole lot worse and on top of that my kidneys hurt. However I was in no way hateful to

After an 8-hour trip to the ER for my wife's kidney stone, the exhausting day ended with waiting over an hour around midnight for her prescriptions. Only to be given five of the six prescriptions. No one said a word. No one told us they shorted us one. Thankfully my wife didn't need the pain medicine that next day but we have to go out of town on business so she grabbed all of her prescriptions and noticed that only five of the six were there. After driving back to the pharmacy and asking them why they didn't give us the 6th prescription. We were told that it was on back order and there's no way we could get it. After asking them why they didn't tell us that the night of and it could have been very very bad if she was an extreme pain and needed her medicine, they simply said call the ER

The food sucks . It used to be good but now it's awful and some of the nurses and staff are hateful. Some are really good but some shouldn't be there but now the food they give you when you have to stay there is awful. And clearly not enough to feed a fly . They need to have better food . Cause I couldn't eat it I had to get my family to bring me my food .

Never went in was waiting for a family member to get their medications.
