PIH Health Urgent Care - La Habra

My child was very sick with croup, I asked the provider to give my child some steroids as she was struggling to breathe and she dismissed my concerns. She was given tylenol and we were sent home. Seems that's a trend these days with the medical system, just give them tylenol and send them home. Well sure enough I had to take my daughter to the ER where they gave her the steroids, to help her airway open up. They were shocked that at urgent care nothing was given to her seeing her condition. Seems like urgent care is a joke where nothing gets done. I was very upset leaving PIH, I felt unheard, and my child's well-being felt neglected. I never plan on going back. Avoid this place.

I couldn’t get in with my regular doctor and all of the other clinics had no appointments.I hesitated to go here because I was worried about wait times but had no choice given the urgency of my issue. I checked online and saw that there was 0 wait time. My experience with this clinic was excellent. I waited about 2 minutes. I would have waited much longer on a Friday afternoon if I had gone to see my regular doctor. The nurse as well as the PA who cared and treated me were caring, respectful and kind. They called me back 3 days later to follow up and to see how I was doing. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back or to take my kids there!

Went in recently for an infection. Was seen by the kindest PA I have had the pleasure of working with, Angel Delgadillo. Angel shows so much compassion, listens to you concerns and responds honestly and with respect. I was in and out of the clinic within 30 minutes (I may have been the first patient of the day, to be fair) and all of the staff was courteous. I would recommend and will return to this Urgent Care for future needs.

I've been here a number of times over the last year. It's been so quick and everyone has been so nice! I'd definitely recommend this urgent care! I've been to the one up the street, have been told wait times were up to 5 - 6 hours. But not here! COVID hasn't made it easy for anyone, especially the healthcare system. So I can appreciate when the staff is friendly and know that they are doing their best. Thanks, PIH Health!

Went here for the first time and am extremely thankful I did. Staff was friendly + helpful making us feel welcome. But most importantly, I want to thank Dr. Kimberly Bartelus who highly recommended me to go the ER and get my blood cultures. Turns out I had bacteria in my blood and needed to be admitted to the hospital for nearly 4 days. If Dr. Bartelus had not told me + written a note to give at the ER, I may have been sent home and gotten sepsis which would have resulted in loss of limbs or even death. Once again, I am truly thankful for Dr. Bartelus who was the perfect doctor for me. A prayer that was answered. Thank you!!!
