Piedmont Urgent Care

I had a sinus infection and was able to get the medicine I needed. I was at a previous urgent care and the nurse didn't catch that I had a sinus infection. I got much better once the antibiotics got my system. The medical assistant and nurse practitioner were helpful with examination. I will refer this urgent care to others who need care. Thank you for getting me back on track!

The staff was kind and friendly from the front desk to the exam room. Dr. T Giberson was thorough and generous with his time. It was obvious that he is a genuine and caring person. Overall, great experience.

Piedmont Urgent Care on Experiment Station Road is always my first choice for quick, and comprehensive care. Their website is user-friendly for setting appointments and the staff is super-friendly. All of the PA's I've encountered are good listeners and invite your comments and insights about your care. I was able to purchase the prescriptions I needed directly from them at a reasonable price, saving another trip to the pharmacy when I was feeling under the weather. Always a great experience from true healthcare professionals.

It is now 2:00. I came in at 11:30. There was one person in the waiting room. I feel horrible. I have just about every sick symptom you can think of. I am in Room but no doc. They took a covid and flu test at 12:53 and said it would take 15 minutes. No doctor. No updates on why you’re letting a sick person just here for hours. I will NEVER come back here and will tell everyone of my experience.

My visit to the Piedmont Urgent Care in Watkinsville GA yesterday evening was exceptional! The receptionist told me there might be up to an hour's wait to see a Provider and I decided to wait it out. Because I came in with a laceration to my thumb, I was taken to the back quickly by Nurse Brianna to assess my wound. She cleaned it up and lightly dressed it for my long wait to see the doctor. My wait to be treated by Dr. Thomas Giberson, a retired emergency room and VA physician, was worth every minute He was super in every way. Knowledgeable, professional, informative, kind and gentle, talkative and even entertaining. We had some long talks during my treatment. He said he had a special feeling for Vietnam Vets like me.
