Piedmont Urgent Care

I know this post is long but they do not care at this place. If I could give 0 stars I would have! I made an appointment and when I arrived I was the only one there. After checking in I was told to have a seat and someone would call me back shortly. After about 20 mins a family walked in and said their daughter needed to be seen because she had a sore throat. 10 minutes later the daughter was called back and I was still waiting. I got up and asked the girl behind the counter why she went back before me when I made an appointment and she had not. She proceeded to tell me that the girl had some other symptoms than I had. I asked her how did she know what my symptoms were when she never asked me. She told me they were not allowed to ask what symptoms we were having. I asked again then why

Be sure to ask what services you're being billed for. I went in for a Rapid Covid test and received a bill for nearly $500.00 for a lab diagnostic and medical examination. I was very surprised because I hardly saw the nurse practitioner for 2 minutes as she hurriedly shared my covid test results. I would never return to this location.

This was my first horrible experience here. The receptionist and MA were terrific! However Beanally and the NP had a nasty attitude. My daughter was experiencing flu symptoms, shortness of breath and chest pain. We sat in room 2 for an hour after she was swabbed for flu/covid. I calmly asked Beanally if they received the results. Beanally comment was rude with a horrible tone stating it’s flu season! I replied I work in the medical field as well the test results do not take an hour. I spoke with the NP about the unnecessary attitude she apologized yet frustrated as well. Ladies you decided to join the medical field there’s no need to display your irrational anger towards patients. I asked for an EKG and X-ray the order was never submitted. We left the facility.

The wait was long, over an hour with a sock 3 year old, despite being prompted to make an appointment. Ok, fine, it’s sick season at urgent care. Then, the nurse was dismissive and rude when I initially declined a flu/covid test (I wanted to have my child looked at first before committing to any tests). The NP was a nice guy, but he told me he felt my daughter may have a heart murmur! Hell of a thing to hear while she’s battling some kind of viral or bacterial issue and is miserable… after checking with her primary care doctor, it was confirmed she does not have a heart murmur. Not only that, but our pediatrician stated that no new diagnosis should happen for a child when they’re sick and feverish. Just further reminder that our area (Walton county) needs a child urgent care or ER option!

From Front desk staff, Kelly Nila (She has locs)to Nurse Wendy I am always greeted with the most attentive staff. They are focused and truly make me feel important. My concerns are heard, and they explain things so that I truly understand fully. Dr. Ashly Cratic, is always absolutely astounding. Any reservations I have about care, she always explain the importance of proper care, and following up where and when I should. I wish this was a doctors office. This team is truly amazing!!!!! Thank you for such dedication and passion!
