Piedmont McDuffie

This place is absolutely horrible. None of the nurses communicate and they all have different protocols. Literally in post surgery right now and have asked for a nurse 3 times in the last 6 hours and nobody has come. I’m literally going to leave and go to Augusta hospital. From the moment I got here it’s been horrible. I was told that when I get upstairs they would feed me. I waited hours and finally asked about food to the janitor and she went and got a nurse to bring me food. Then they said if I want food I have to ask for it which would have been nice to know hours ago. They put me in a room and on a bed then walked out and I had not seen anyone since then. I had to figure out how to use this bed to to recline and it took me over an hour to find the nurse call button to ask to go to the

Very nice Hospital the employees are very nice and friendly the inside and outside if the facility is always clean. Wasn't very busy and are still promoting the sanitize your hands, wear a mask and keep the 6 foot distance rules. Name has changed within the last 3 weeks is now Piedmont McDuffie.

I came for a mammogram and had the best experience. My tech was very gentle and very pleasant. The hospital seems very clean and every person I encountered was nice. I will be sending my friends here for mammograms!!

Went to get blood drawn per doctor's orders at 4 pm to check med levels. I was informed at the desk lab closed at 3 and no blood was drawn after that time. Needing this done I had to insist hoping that the facility had someone trained to draw blood after hours for emergency needs at least! Thankfully they did and she drew a vial. I was then informed not to return again after 3 regardless of medical professionals orders is my assumption. Personally I think this facility is a pitiful excuse for a healthcare place.

My wife was admitted yesterday for what we now know is Mastitis thanks to her OB. Dr. Gore at Piedmont McDuffie stated that he spoke with her OB and her OB requested she be transferred to Doctors Hospital. Per her OB, that was never the case; Dr. Gore dumped her onto another hospital because he did not want to care for her which is illegal. Her Nurse Jesse on the other hand was great overall!
