I (D) had an ablation procedure today. Dr Clark and his staff are the best! He was great at explaining everything, as was the anesthesiologist, nurses and everyone involved! I had a wonderful experence for what I went in for. Thanks to all for the great care I received!!!

I had a 1:00 PM appointment with a cardiologist and arrived early. By 1:30, several patients who arrived after me were being taken back, so I politely asked the front desk if they knew when I might be seen. I was told this particular doctor is “always late.” When the MA/nurse, (Crystal) called me back, she immediately confronted me with an irritated tone and asked if there was a problem. I calmly explained I had only asked about my wait time. Instead of proceeding, she escalated the situation, refused to take me back, and even threatened to call security after I quietly expressed frustration under my breath nothing directed at her, (at that time). I was greeted by a smiling, and apparently happy woman, Mona. She guided me to the exam area, made me feel welcome, was efficient and knowledgeable. She respected my privacy by only asking me to lift my shirt for the ECG which done quickly. She then confirmed and entered the meds inform sheet that I had given her to update my health history. Within a minute after she left Dr Michael Johnson came in treated me as a friend, asked me about my children by name and explained what he saw on the ECG, listened to my heart sounds and gave me options for my care. Dealing with Piedmont Cardiac Physicians was a real pleasure. Everyone there treated me like I was special. They all took time with me, from the young lady at the front desk to the PA, Lauren Matthew’s Wilson to the nurse who did the vitals and the young ladies at the check out desk. I highly recommend this Cardiac department at Piedmont off of Walton Way Dr Cundy has a great team working for him and he is pretty awesome himself!

Hannah was very professional and showed a lot of concern. She had very good bedside manners and seemed like she was very interested in finding out what was going on with me. When others just wanted to prescribe medication to treat something they had no idea of what it was!
