3 kidney stones and between waiting over a week for 3 obstructed stones, hydroureter, and hydronephrosis. My surgery was scheduled 2 weeks out only to be delayed again another week. I am in pain and cannot take anything because of other medication. Ive had 3 UAs and cultures in 3 weeks because every facility wants their own. What happened to interoperability of EHR sharing? Just unnecessary costs and another reason healthcare costs are skyrocketing. At no time did a medical professional lay hands on me to examine me. What I know, as a medical professional, is that you will cause harm to a patient if you fail to examine them. Standard of care is not waiting weeks or months for a procedure, especially if complications are already present. My suggestion is to really read patient responses t
A/C wasn't working correctly during our stay on the entire third floor where we stayed over night after C section and couldn't be moved to another floor as we had to stay in the rooms for post pregnancy. It was miserable trying to heal and being hot and sweating, they said someone was supposedily fixing it or was working on it and the issue never got resolved, none of the nurses could say for sure what the main issue was just apologies for the temperature, luckily my husband was able to bring our large stand up fan from our house and that kept us cool, we asked for a fan from the hospital but the nurses couldn't find one that was available as a lot of the patients was using them because of course we where all hot! I hope they get the A/C issue fixed asap!! Also, our AC temp control box tha
This is one of the worst hospital's I have ever had to deal with. The nursing staff and the doctors here do not listen to what you are telling them. I have explained what meds my client takes (as well as the client did and their medical record confirmed) and why and then they don't even give them to my client. Next thing they are wondering why my clients sugar is almost 400 or why their blood pressure was almost 200. Well if the hospital would listen then the clients sugar and blood pressure wouldn't be elevated. Also the hospital didn't feed the client or give them something to drink for over 24 hours (and they were not having surgery at the time- so it wasn't for pre op). Then no supplies in the room for the potty chair, or anything else. So in essence this hospital starves you, medicate
My father has been admitted for a week now and his medical team has been amazing. They saved my father’s life numerous times. This is why I am giving 5 stars. They have recommended that he have 3 hours a day of inpatient OT upon his discharge. Unfortunately his hospital Social Worker did not put in due diligence and had him admitted into a 1 hour a day facility against our wishes. We tried to have her correct it but she would not and her reason was “Once we get them approved for one, we don’t typically change it.” If you go to this hospital and you or your loved one needs OT I highly recommend contacting the head of the Social Services department. Because you want your loved one to get the care that the doctors recommend.
I was just in Piedmont Augusta gift shop. I was met with one of the most rudest employees. I was looking around the gift shop for a nice gift for Mother's Day and one of the ladies spoke to me in a rude tone saying be careful those purses are expensive. I just looked at her, like I could not afford the price of the purse or anything in that gift shop. My money spend just as good as the next person.
