Physical Therapy of Okeechobee

I feel the need to be honest here. While I understand PT should be uncomfortable and even painful, here's my situation. I had a total rotator cuff repair. Three days later, I went here for my initial PT eval, opting for here because its 5 minutes from my house. They were gracious and got me right in. I was so happy, no hour drive to go to my PT appts. I went in, did a few exercises, then Cheryl laid me on my back and did passive, aggressive ROM exercises to the point I nearly passed out from excruiating pain. It felt like she was tearing the repair that I just had done 3 days prior. I was sobbing uncontrollably but she just kept going. THIS IS NOT NORMAL care, especially 3 days post-op. GENTLE passive ROM is important 3 days post-op, not torturing and possibly injuring the repair

Was referred to Physical Therapy of Okeechobee by a neighbor. I was extremely pleased with the therapy. Cheryl and her staff were professional, tailored the treatment to my specific needs (not generic book stuff), answered all my questions and ensured I was doing the proper techniques so I could continue on my own. I would highly recommend their services!

Was referred to Physical Therapy of Okeechobee after a knee revision in August. Cheryl and her staff were very friendly and professional. After having knee replacement in 2014, the PT here was so much better. I would highly recommend their services!

Praise God they are very thorough with the initial exam to know what is needed. She gave me a huge variety of strengthening exercises for my upper and lower back - many which help other areas of my body as well. I started with a chronic daily pain level of 7 and it went down to a 4. I have done therapy for my back many many times over the past 19 years and this worked the best. I did one visit a week over about 4 mos.

I came into this therapy thinking the worst. I remember crying the first day and by the third day I was laughing and getting stronger and stronger. Cheryl and Elena are considerate, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The only thing they want is for each patient to have the best quality of life. Anyone would be lucky to have. Cheryl and Elena working with them on their road to recovery. Tot hip replacement❤️
