⭐ 1 star We will never return to Phoebe Urgent Care Lee County. This visit was deeply disappointing and concerning, especially given our prior positive experience at this location. During this visit, all three of my children were tested for strep and all three tested positive. Two of my children were prescribed antibiotics. One child was not prescribed antibiotics, despite the same confirmed diagnosis. Two of my children initially presented with clear strep-like symptoms. One child was not initially symptomatic, but I advocated firmly for testing because my children share rooms, common spaces, and participate in close-contact sports, increasing the risk of transmission. Today my son and I had the pleasure of experiencing care from Clarissa Smith, NP! Not only did she provide her expertise but she brought life and energy in room. She’s passionate about her work and health of her patients. Mr. Marcus has done a great job in setting a culture of care, passion, and liveliness within this office; and it shows through each point of contact from start to finish.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was very attentive and compassionate. The X-ray technicians, nurse, and practitioner were all very nice,professional, and took the time to ensure I was comfortable and well cared for. I truly appreciate the excellent care I received.

The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and we did not have to wait long before being seen. The nurse who first checked on my son was compassionate, patient, and very thorough. She took the time to listen to our concerns and made sure my son felt comfortable the entire time. The provider we saw was just as kind and professional, explaining everything clearly, answering all of our questions, and ensuring we understood the next steps for his care. I brought my baby in after an allergic reaction and was hoping for help and reassurance. I called ahead and was told that as long as we arrived by 7 PM, we would be welcomed. I arrived at 6:57 and saw the front desk staff lock the door. I knocked anyway and after some back and forth, including being questioned about who was receiving care, I was finally allowed in and signed in. The wait to get into a room was short, only about 5 to 10 minutes, and then about 20 minutes before seeing the nurse practitioner. I’m only giving 2 stars for the short wait and the great MA that too my baby’s vitals. Once with the nurse practitioner, the experience took a turn. She spoke to me in a rude and judgmental way.
