I am getting my first crown and Dr. Kang / his staff have been super kind and attentive. They're very patient with all your questions and will address any concerns. Dr. Kang is also amazing - I have major dental anxiety but he is willing to explain everything just so you understand what is going on. I've been seeing Dr. Kang for several years now and he always takes the time to discuss my concerns - which just shows he cares about his work and patients. I would say billing is relatively transparent - if there are unexpected billing surprises, it is most likely due to insurance claims - not the office themselves. I really like Dr. Kang and I'd say he is my favorite dentist 🦷

I’ve been a patient at this office for quite some time, and while the clinical care has always been excellent, my recent experience with the front desk and management was extremely disappointing. I was given a bill for an X-ray that was not covered by insurance, which I completely understand and had no issue paying. However, my bill also included a $50 no-show fee. I questioned this because I never received any notice of a missed appointment and you call and call and they don’t answer! I CALLED AND THEY DIDN’T ANSWER, and someone had previously agreed that the fee would be removed. When a staff member reviewed the charges with me, the numbers simply did not add up. I was told the X-ray was $53 and the bonding procedure was around $69, yet the total presented to me was $169. I politely to

I have always had a great experience with this dentist. Prompt, quick, professional. I moved about 2 hours away in 2021, tried a new dentist closer to my home, but then returned to Philadelphia Dental. The customer service is really good.

I have been a dental patient for a few year at Philadelphia Dental Associates. They were highly recommended to me and I have also passed their contact info on. The dentist himself is great- patient, kind, and does not find frivolous fake dental problems to charge for. The hygienists are efficient and kind. However, the billing department is atrocious. Twice, on two separate occasions, they have submitted duplicate charges to my insurance. When the duplicate charge is denied, they have submitted it as an unpaid claim. I then have to waste my time on the phone with my insurance company and the dental office to prove payment was received on the first charge. Communication with the dental office is choppy and rude. I hope that Dr. Kang and associates change their billing/records department soon so they do not lose more patients, they are really great. I unfortunately will be switching dentists for now.
