Petersburg Healthcare Center

I had a visit there for the open house, when I walked in, I noticed how clean the floors were (that's a thing I have). I also noticed how clean it smelled even walking past rooms. Residents were very happy and spoke to me as I walked through. I met staff who seemed very passionate about the care of their residents and it showed with the residents. This is a very different Petersburg Healthcare Center, and I appreciate all the work that has been done to get it to a place where I would put a loved one.

When I enter I feel like I’m at home. The staff is wonderful and smart and nice. I loved to see people taking care of the needed that’s a God Blessing for everyone. Reason why I said that statement is it going to be a time in our life, that we are going to need help someday and let’s hope it’s like Petersburg Healthcare. Thank you for letting me share my wonderful experience and my love for the place. Thank you again.

My mother has enjoyed her stay here thus far. We did have a minor issue that the director, Sherri, was quick to resolve. Sherri leads this building with compassion, dignity, and great skill. Her diligent actions reflect how proud she is to represent Petersburg Healthcare Center. Thank you, Sherri!!!

The front desk person just let me walked in without even asking me who I was seeing,the building was smelling,the rooms was so small that they had to share closest they didn't have no tv I had to bring a tv and my mom was only giving water to drink,and when she asked for help it took them over an hour to respond that she forgot what she wanted , my mother was there for physical therapy and they didn't even do that she stayed in the room the whole time it was hot in her room and they kept her door. Closed,and when she told them that she was going home that she wasn't staying they started to act funny towards my mother,and the doctor only came to see her two days before she was discharged to go home. Told me to come back at 5 pm to get my mother cause she needs her oxygen and they didn't e

The staff is very friendly & professional. Lavinia, HR was very informative regarding the expectations of staff & what to expect from the management team as well as herself. Orientation was excellent. She gave us step by step instructions & made sure we were comfortable. Each video was elaborated on to make sure we understood the Communicare process.
