I’m so grateful to have found Dr. P’s office. I’ve been to a handful of dentists in the area and this is the first one that has felt like a good fit. From booking appointments, to cleanings and routine checkups, to having more in-depth work done, I’ve felt cared for and seen as an individual, not just another number. Everyone in the office seemed to be invested in my treatment plan, I was shown my x-rays, and the doctor talked through different treatment options before moving forward. I’ve left each time feeling well cared for and considered.

Great dentistry practice! They are always attentive to any questions I have and they are also super efficient and organized. Even though most people probably don’t enjoy going to the dentist, you can tell Petchalonis Dental makes an effort to make every appointment as quick and painless as possible.

I was referred to Dr. Petchalonis by a good friend, who swore this was the finest dentist in Philly. After some nervousness, I made my first appointment last year. I can say for sure that my friend was right! With some embarrassment, I admit that I hadn't seen a dentist in too long a time. Dr. Petchalonis helped me with multiple fillings and crowns, including build-ups. He helped diagnose, resolve, and replace some metal fillings that I had from decades ago. Dr. Petchalonis and his team are fabulous. I recently had to get a filling, and as someone who does not like needles I was worried about getting numb for the procedure. Before scheduling the filling appointment, Dr Petchalonis assured me that they would use a gel to numb the area first and that I shouldn't even feel the needle. During the filling appt I did not feel anything from the needle (at all, not even a little bit) after having the numbing gel. Everything went great and I nearly cried with relief because of the anxiety about the needles beforehand. Thank you for taking great care me! Highly recommended!!

After a lifetime of dental issues, bad experiences, and outright trauma, I walked into Dr. Petchalonis’ office carrying more than just a broken crown—I was carrying fear, shame, and a history of being let down. But from the moment I found his office, everything changed. He’s gentle, incredibly precise, and clearly takes immense pride in his work. (Honestly? I suspect a little perfectionist streak in the best possible way.) He caught things a previous clinic had missed, including a poorly done root canal that still had nerve tissue left.
