Petaluma Eye Care Optometric Associates

They checked my eyes and I got me reading glasses. The wait was minimal. They were training a new receptionist so check in was a little on the slow side. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the products.

We are very pleased with our eye examinations as well as the glasses we have purchased from Petaluma Eye Care. They have a huge selection of frames and their staff is friendly and helpful.

Update 12/23/2025... Things have changed since this review. I have updated the start rating as well. They were friendly but not as helpful and the glasses are cheap and flimsy. They had some mishaps during my exam due to inexperience. There was no fitting when I picked up my glasses. They just handed them to me in a box and told me to have a nice day. The prescription is correct and I can see, but I'm looking for a new eye doctor. My experience at Petaluma Eye Care was great. The receptionist was quick and took care of me right away. The optometrist was thorough, fast, and pleasant. The associates that measured me for my glasses were friendly and helpful. They have a decent selection of frames to choose from.

Dr Harris is great but the front office gals are extremely rude! They were short with me on my first vist and my third which will be my last. I'm surprised they have a job especially since they are the first people everyone interacts with! Its a shame!

Everyone who I saw and spoke to were helpful, polite and safe. I would recommend Dr. Harris and his staff to anyone. It has that old time feeling "like you are welcome there, as if they have known you for a long time." Old school.
