Pentucket Express Care

Dear public, I am writing this review for awareness, so you don't get any surprise bills. This facility does NOT offer Urgent Care services as they claim. This facility advertises itself as Express Care, offering Urgent Care services. But that is not what they do. We visited the facility about a month ago and we just got the bill from the insurance company which was a lot higher than expected. To make the long story short, after spending a significant amount of time, I found out and this confirmed by the supervisor at the location, that they charge the bills through the hospital, which in simple terms means that they charge them as office visits. Of course, this will mean that the bill you'll get will be for outpatient care and usually would count towards your deductible. The supervis

We arrived at this urgent care around 2PM on a Friday afternoon due to my fiancé’s recent back injury. We waited a maximum of 10-15 minutes in the waiting room before being called back. The RN, Steph, was very friendly, professional, and down-to-earth. She was very informative and efficient. It wasn’t long before the physician assistant came in. He was quick to get a history and order an X-ray which was done at the facility. The PA was efficient and professional, as well! There was a bit of a delay in care due to a more urgent situation (which we were informed of—the nurse still came in to check on us a couple of times.) It’s now 4:30PM and we’re out the door! We will definitely come back if another urgent care need arises.

I made an appointment after exhausting other means of obtaining antiviral medication remotely. The person I made the appointment with told me to use the same number that I am using now, which was a number supplied by my my primary care physicians office. I had asked what the protocol would be for me after testing positive for Covid. She said to call this number when you arrive and they would prepare for me. I called the number and waited, of course, and when it was answered, the person on the other end is asking me why I'm calling this number. My previous experiences have been quite acceptable and the staff has been quite kind. I usually get the treatment that is adequate except for the last two instances. But overall it's a convenient facility that is attractive with quick intake and easy access right of route 93 and the route 495. If you get there before 5:00, they will send you to a lab that is in the same building. I am confused about whether they have the facilities to do blood testing or not but I think they do. Last time I went there and I was I was diagnosed with the flu a viral flu. So I waited and waited and waited and I was still sick.
