Pennsylvania Pharmacy Board

Would give them less than 1 star if possible. They do a disservice to the profession and are a disgrace to the human race.

I recently spoke to Sara with the board. She was SUPER helpful in getting my prescriptive authority license! Every time I’ve called everyone has been pleasant, supportive and took care of my needs!

I started the application process in February, passed MPJE in early April, and still not licensed. I can’t fathom how they could be worse at this point. They told me they couldn’t verify information on my Kansas license, even though the information they were looking for was in the middle of the image I sent. That was sent in early April and reviewed in the end of June. They still haven’t reviewed the information I sent them at the end of June and probably won’t be reviewed for another month or two at this rate.

I hope this review prepares someone else to plan ahead of time, give the board MONTHS in advance to do its process. It took me 7 months to get my license transferred from Colorado. Laws of PA is very outdated, people that practice in my field aren't very familiar with the actual law either. And I think the board is understaffed. I hope it gets better. Thanks for those working so hard.

Why are we paying them license renewal fees every other year if they are too incompetent to renew the license for the child abuse CE when both NABP and the CE provider sends it to them? Their system keeps crashing and the phone and email messages are automatic. No wonder the pharmacy profession is sinking. I would like to fire them all.
