This review is for other patients. The practice knows my feelings so no response from the practice is necessary. My doctor was Victor Carpiniello and I was his patient for approximately 3 years. Cooper Health identified an enlarged prostate via CT scan and inserted a catheter to treat my urinary retention on 9/1/25 while I was on vacation. I visited Penn Urology Washington Square and Dr. Carpiniello on 9/5 to void but could not urinate naturally, so I still needed a catheter. My video urodynamics test was scheduled for 10/28/25 - 53 days later. When this test was completed, Dr. Carpiniello stated that I needed surgery on the prostate to fix my proble
Dr Kovell is a great doctor and is always friendly and pleasant for my procedures and checkups. I look forward to seeing him for my kidney issues which have been since birth. Its hard to find a doctor I can trust to be there but he has definitely been a saving grace and had saved my life in 2018.
If your desire is to wait 1 1/2 hours in an examination room without a doctor's subsequent apology, he's your man! His 5 star reviews are no doubt deserved. I don't doubt his competence and skill! His problem is an aloof clinical attitude that treats you like a lab rat, a boat payment or a scheduled remuneration for an Aspen ski lodge condominium. Not only did he fail to apologize for my wait time, but when I voiced my genuine fears of dying in 4 months of prostate cancer, he remained silent! He simply sat down in his ergonomic chair, stared at the ceiling, and peeled of a well rehearsed oft repeated narrative....He certainly had no duty to offer unreasonable assurances. But he did have a duty to talk me down from my uninformed opinion. The Hypocratic Oath says, "Do no harm." Well, ther
Hour and a half round trip. Less than 20 minutes in office (including checkin and waiting room). Not sure why I was summoned there so urgently by Dr Kirkland. $ grab from my insurance I guess. Probably why he can afford this view?!?
