I arrived 20 minutes early for a 10:45am appointment on a Saturday and, despite being the only person in the waiting room, was not seen for nearly 2 hours. Around 11:25am, another patient checked in and was called back within five minutes even though I was still waiting. Even with a light patient load, whatever internal management system they use is disorganized and ineffective. For patients already experiencing stress and uncertainty about potential diagnoses, these kinds of delays add unnecessary anxiety and make the experience more difficult than it needs to be. This appointment was an urgent one and scheduled over a month ago, so to arrive there and be left hanging felt like an avoidable waste of time. Apparently, one of the radiology orders put in for me was cancelled (I wasn't told
I only had one appointment, but I had a great experience. Waited about 2 minutes in the waiting room, and when I was taken in, everyone was very nice and I was taken in for my scan right away.
I waited 40 minutes before checking in again with the front desk. They crossed my name off their list as if I was already taken care of. I would’ve sat in the waiting room endlessly, had I not gone up to ask how much longer I’d be waiting. I also signed in on the MyChart app. For all the checking in I have to do, the system is still flawed.
I called the number on the website, they confirmed they closed at 7PM. I arrived at 5:33PM only for them to tell me they closed at 5:30PM. I was told I didn’t need an appointment for an X-Ray, but it seems like I did. It is difficult for me to walk and I don’t drive so getting here to then be turned around w/o any type of accommodation is terrible patient care.
I called and spoke to a worker named Charlie brown. he was by far the most professional caring representative I have ever spoken too I called not knowing where to even start looking for my client and he help me find her also transferred me to the right place I needed to get InTouch with my client FUTHER MORE also provided me with a number just incase I get disconnected... GIVE HIM A PROMOTION HE IS AMAZING AND IT SHOULDNT GO UNRECONGIZED.
