Penn Outpatient Lab Washington Square

Been going here for years. I’m on Humira for Crohn’s. I have to get blood work a lot. The last two times I went here for blood work, it was mishandled and could not be used. The first time it happened was a mistake and I stressed the second time that I have to leave work early to make it here on time and need this to work out as I don’t get a lot of free time. They promised it will be fine and it wasn’t. Due to the timing of Humira levels you can only get this test once every two weeks right before your next shot. Sometimes it doesn’t lie on a day I can swing. However having long periods of time with no blood work causes issues with filling this script so it’s been a nightmare for me. They did me good for so long not sure whats going on lately.

Ridiculously slow. Been here multiple times and each time they're understaffed, rude, & I don't see the people they have on staff doing much of anything. Their sign in sheet is paper & 20 feet from the attendants, so they have no idea if they're properly triaging client flow UPDATE: this lab also improperly handled my testing sample and I had to waste multiple additional weeks going through the process again. Incredible incompetency.

quanda and brittany are wonderful phlebotomists!!! sorry if i’m misspelling their names. i dread blood draws more than anything - sometimes if i even think about the process i will pass out. i needed SO MUCH bloodwork this month - i thought it would take me ten visits. we got it done in two. they are skilled, gentle, all around amazing!!!

Quanda, Donna and the team were wonderful to me again! This is the second time i’ve come here and the service was quick, kind and professional despite the complicated tests i needed processed. I’ve never had more professional people draw my blood. Definitely go there.

We had a 11:45am appointment for blood work. It’s 1:05pm and we still haven’t been seen… disorganized and zero care for individuals time.
