Staff and Dr's are nice. Facilities are clean. The only downfall that I don't like about the practice is that whoever did the surgery should be the one who sees you post op (at least the 1st appointment after surgery). I left the office that day disappointed. Not every knee is gonna heal the same or be on track with healing the same as everyone else and I wanted to hear the Dr's perspective of what his thoughts were from the day of surgery til now. Not a woman who just read my notes and determined where I am at. No disrespect to her but that is poor practice when the Dr don't see you IMO.
I think the practice is fine, and I did not have an issue with the care I received in terms of the basic medicine. However I did not care for the bedside manner of Dr. Stull. For example, I was a bit taken aback when in the middle of his aid asking me a question at an appointment, he talked over me saying I know this already you don’t need to say this. I felt rushed and left without getting a recommended plan of basic stretches/exercsies.
Had a follow up with Dr. Poorman about a meniscal tear to discuss surgery. Before Dr. Poorman came in the room his PA Josiah Baker came in. He said they only did that type of surgery on young healthy athletes. He then proceeded to talk to me about a total knee replacement! I was shocked! I am an extremely active 67 year old doing indoor cycling, body sculpting, and pilates. I was extremely insulted. I wil not be returning to this practice. In addition, I cannot find one review for Dr. Poorman.
The nurses and staff are very nice. And very helpful and knowledgeable.
Very disappointed in this practice. My daughter has a broken finger they told me to tape it for A MONTH. It started to become crooked and disformed so I messaged them again and they said to just keep it taped. I asked if we could get in sooner and they told me the hand doctor was booked out for a long time. So I called another orthopedic doctor we were just seen today. They told me her finger should have had surgery right away now she’s going in for surgery on Tuesday. This practice doesn’t care and isn’t very knowledgeable.
