Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital

I was at the health campus 2/5/26 for routine bloodwork. There was a trainee and a regular person to draw blood. The trainee was going to take my blood. I told her to use the thinnest needle possible. In all my years of getting my blood work completed I NEVER experienced a worse blood draw. It was very painful me telling her several times to take the needle out. This girl was clueless obviously on how to draw blood. All that pain and she didn’t get the sample anyway. I left lightheaded and in tears. Our health care system is broken… I have experienced several disappointing incidences this past year.

Call customer service just now verified everything. Except my blood type ha ha funny, funny. She wouldn't even let me log in or give me a recent password because I wouldn't give her my contact information for my emergency contacts like, why do you need to know my personal emergency contact. Horrible customer service. So I guess going forward.You need to verify what color your poop is.Your blood type, your emergency contacts and every other type of information just to reset a password.

If I could give this hospital a 0, I absolutely would. I believe they are HUGE reason why he passed away. My father was a patient for about a month here. The many times I check in with him, there was always some kind of safety issue/concern happening. One night I called in and he was EXTREMELY confused. I asked the operator and the unit secretary to report a stroke alert. It takes ALOT for me worry, let alone, call for a stroke alert. Neither one knew what to do. In fact, the unit clerk gave me lots of attitude and yelled, "I CAN'T CALL A STROKE ALERT, ONLY AN RN CAN". As far as myself, I've worked in a few hospitals, and usually during a proper orientation, you are told how to report a stroke alert- if you're too afraid... you run to the nearest doc or nurse and let them know a family

I wad there in mother's day 2023 with chest pains . The care was excellent . I just went to the new hospital the Penn one . It was the worst experience I've ever has at a hospital . Do not go there.

Decepcionada era fiel a este hospital y me desepcione totalmente llevo mas de 5 horas esperando en la sala de espera que me atiendan con mi bebé de 1 año con 104 de fiebre y nada q ver. Pedí de favor que me le tomaran la temperatura de nuevo porque estaba demaciado caliente y nunca vinieron .
