Who would have ever thought that the words "dentist" and "gentle" would fit into the same sentence? I assure you that they do at Penn Dental Center! From Dr. Juma to Felicity, there is a kind, gentle professionalism from the moment you walk into the door. I still am not happy glad about going to the dentist, but I don't dread it. I know that I am going to get the best of care and the advantage of the latest technology (have you been photographed by the Star Trek mechanism that encircles your head? Wow!). My colleagues advised me to take "good dental insurance into retirement, you're going to need it!" And I have! Yet knowing that Dr. Juma, Dr. Patel and the rest of the dental staff is taking care of me takes away a lot of concerns. I'm older yet I'm told that my teeth are whiter and

I had a crown installed, and they had to remove it, because it was a totally different shape than my original tooth and had no texture to it. I found myself constantly playing with this strange new shape with my tongue. It felt like a smooth wad of chewing gum. After grinding down the crown they had just installed, they inserted a new crown (without glueing it in position yet), which was pretty much no different than the crown they had installed a few weeks earlier. I told the doctor that it still felt like it was lacking texture. He thought he could make it better so he took it out and started grinding it. It seemed like it improved it, so I said, “I think we’re going to be able to work with this one”, assuming he was going to continue grinding until the tooth felt more similar to my oth

I absolutely love this place! You know how some people fear going to their dentist appointment? I don’t. Michelle has been my dental hygienist for 15 years, and Sara has been confirming (or rescheduling) my appointments for just as long. Everyone there is so nice. Their professionalism, technical expertise and outstanding customer service are so good, I have recommended them to everyone I know. Most of my family goes here and I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else. If you’ve never been to this office, give them a try. You won’t regret it!
