Calls are shipped overseas to schedule an appointment. They don't like to accept returning patients and desire to know the details for leaving and returning.

Been a patient of theirs for 30 years. Told by ER visit to follow up with them on kidney stone stuck in ureter. Calls to them went unreturned. Called back, got run around. After several call backs, finally an appt. next day. No pain meds although pain level at 6 or 7. Only asked for 4 pills to get me to the visit. They treat you as if you are an addict trying to get over. Obvious that they are the only game in town with lack of empathy to the patients.

Absolutely horrible. I am going back up North to see Drs, never again. Besides walking out with anxiety and pain and humiliation i was floored. Lack of compassion understanding, its bad enough you never see the dr or attempt to makecan appointment there you have to go through hoops. Straight cath me nurse lacked total, compassion or understanding of prior health issues. Telling me to relax then walks out im in tears from pain and anxiety, you hear laughing . Telling me to compose myself . I felt rushed unable to talj abput anything. Eyes rolling, just horrible. The np lacks personality or understand of womens issues with urological combined. Wrong field lady. I felt violated.

My husband was passing blood in his urine and contacted our GP who did x-ray and ct scan and referred us to urologist. Saw PA in office in June and she ordered cystoscope in Aug and commented that sometimes old prostate just bleed. Decided to see Dr in Easton and turns out to be bladder cancer. So u decide who u would want as a Dr??

Terrible service by the ladies in the office. You seemingly can only leave messages and they may respond back to you, and when you do speak with them they are quite rude. Dr. Shimko was wonderful on the other hand. I would recommend him wholeheartedly. It's unfortunate that his office staff couldn't care less about the patient or their needs.
