Customer Reviews
Uriah at Peninsula Physical Therapy is truly top-notch. He has an excellent understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and biomechanics, which really shows in both his assessments and treatment plans. He’s highly skilled at manual therapy and creates thoughtful, effective exercise programs. I felt listened to, well cared for, and confident in the plan moving forward. The staff at Peninsula Physical Therapy is also great with a caring and supportive approach. I highly recommend Uriah to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and skilled physical therapist.
I highly recommend Peninsula Physical Therapy. I have had the opportunity to work with Dr Allison Prunauer. Allison is outstanding. She is a true expert with the goal of getting results in a timely manner. She is incredibly efficient, results oriented and likes to share knowledge which has been incredibly helpful. She doesn't just tell me what to do but she tells me why it works. She is also exceptional at the hands-on massage work which has made a world of difference in my recovery. She is friendly and flexible with how she works with clients and I consider her a trusted partner for me in my rehabilitation journey. In addition to Dr Allison's awesome support, the operational staff is outstanding as well. I have worked with Madie on difficult issues getting my doctor orders figured ou
I recently completed a course of P.T. sessions at Peninsula Physical Therapy in Rolling Hills Estates which consisted of two visits per week and extended over about two months. Following a nasty fall while walking my dog, I was referred for improvement to my “gait and balance”, which had deteriorated, I guess, due to too many birthdays (78!) After observing my condition and level of abilities, my therapist, Uriah Maimone, started me on a regimen of various activities and exercises which I did twice weekly at their facility, and daily at home. About 50% of these were designed to stimulate and strengthen the nerve signals my eyes, ears, and feet send to the brain to control my body’s balance as I move through space, and the other 50% were exercises for building strength in the muscles, p
This review is long overdue. I'm 57 yrs old so this is not my first time at the rodeo but I will say this is the ONLY place I will ever go for PT now. PPT is exceptional in helping individuals of all ages and needs. When I tore my meniscus in October 2024, I actually told my orthopedist that I didn't want to do PT based on my past experiences which spanned places that were either too cautious of hurting me so they treated me like an 80 yr old fragile person or places that had canned exercises that never changed over months with aides that didn't seem to care but rather were just checking off boxes. My doctor recommended I try Penninsula PT so I reluctantly called to make an appointment and asked for a therapist who "would treat me like an active person not an 80 yr old" and Tameka said
I started PT about two months ago after second knee replacement surgery, which was about nine months again.when I first began treatment , I was experiencing severe pain in my left hip and back and could barely walk. I was under the care of Dr. Uriah , who is an outstanding physical therapist. He worked on my hip and knee with great care and patience , and after two months of treatment , I am now 99% pain free and able to walk normally and do my regular exercises again. He is truly exceptional ,and I highly recommend him as your next physical therapist.
