Peninsula Hand Therapy

My orthopedic doctor recommended I see Kerry Bate at Peninsula Hand Therapy after I had broken a bone in my right ring finger. I could not straighten or fully bend the finger, and I had significant pain and loss of strength in that hand. I took his advice, and after working with Kerry over the course of three months and doing her exercises at home, I have regained almost all of the movement and strength in my hand and have no pain. Kerry was wonderful to work with. She fully explained everything regarding my therapy and showed me various exercises to improve my mobility and strength. I am very grateful to Kerry for helping me make such remarkable improvement. Besides being a wonderful hand therapist, she is a lovely person and I enjoyed my sessions with her. I highly recommend her service

I recently had surgery on my right hand in connection with diagnosed ulnar nerve damage. Number one--my surgeon Dr. Smerlis was absolutely awesome. Peninsula Hand Therapy is NOT you typical run of the mill therapy places, and Kerry Bate is not your typical therapist. I had surgery on both hands for trigger fingers. My doctor sent me to PHT, and I got personalized service. Kerry didn't spend five or ten minutes with me and then have me doing remedial tasks. She actual spent the whole time taking care of my hands. I highly recommend Peninsula Hand Therapy and Kerry Bate, and would not hesitate to go again. Thank you Kerry for everything you did.

My therapist Kerry is the best - she's very gentle but persistent in restoring motion to my hand after my surgery. She's kind and funny and knows exactly how to distract me while inflicting necessary discomfort. Absolutely recommend 100%!
