Pediatric Healthcare Associates

I am honestly only staying for the convenient hrs. There are some good paediatricians in all practices, but almost everyone who has seen my kids spends less than 5’ with them, providing less than basic information, like the one who saw my son today. He checked his vitals, he left, he came back and said it’s strep and left. It feels so unwelcoming every time. Best practise of all the one in Hawley Lane. Best administration again the same and the one in Shelton. There is so much room for improvement. You can be quick and friendly at the same time, you just need to put some effort.

It was my first time at this office, and I called for a sick appointment. They had same-day availability, which was great. The medical assistant and Jill, APRN, were very nice and professional. I really appreciated the care my daughter received and enjoyed my visit as we were seen promptly.

Attention all new mothers. My daughter had an allergic reaction to a vaccine, I called the office immediately explaining how swollen and covered in hives she was, we were told and I quote by a nurse we cant see her today we are full I can’t tell you what to do, if she stops breathing bring her to the er. I was denied to talk to her dr. I was told she was too busy to take my call. We had to bring my daughter to the ER. We brought her to PHA the next day covered in hives they dismissed told us it was normal and asked us to immediately continue the vaccine schedule asap. Please find another office and drs that care about your concerns

I don’t typically write reviews, but I feel it’s important to bring attention to the demeanor of some of the nursing staff at this office. Considering this is a pediatric practice, I was surprised by how disengaged and unapproachable several of the nurses appeared. They often enter the room without a greeting, leave without a farewell, and rarely show warmth or a smile. In addition, doors are frequently closed with unnecessary force, which can be unsettling. On a positive note, I would like to recognize Sheryl, Amanda, and another younger nurse who consistently provide excellent, compassionate care. Unfortunately, outside of these few individuals, the overall experience with the nursing staff has been disappointing. Poor reflection of the practice. My children have seen two doctors here. H

Anytime my kids have came in whether it’s for a sick visit or physical. They have been treated very very well by front staff and Dr Citarella is the most amazing doctor ever so good with my kids so friendly very helpful.
