Pediatric Dental Specialist of Hiram

We have been going to this dentist office for the last three years and they are nothing short of amazing. The staff is SO sweet and friendly. They have all the fun things to keep kids comfortable in a usually scary place (the dentist). They have TVs on the ceiling above the patient chairs. Fun glasses for the kids to wear. Several flavors to choose from with toothpaste and fluoride. Marshmallow is my son’s favorite! We usually see Dr. Simms but this visit we saw Dr. Patel and loved her just as much!!

What an incredible group of caring and compassionate professionals! We were seen with virtually no wait time. Dr. Simms was so kind, she took the time to explain my 4-year-old’s anterior tooth trauma and made everything feel so easy and comforting. She’s incredibly down to earth and just cool. A sweet gentleman even made my son a balloon sword, and he was absolutely thrilled! The assistants were so gentle and kind with my little one. We’ve officially found his new dental home. All in all, if you have children, give this place a go. I promise you won’t regret it!

I am giving this office one star due to concerns regarding due diligence and billing integrity. After checking my daughter in for a routine cleaning, I was informed that there was a $51 balance remaining from her previous visit for a sealant. I explained that I had not been told at the prior appointment that the sealant was not covered by insurance. Because the receptionist was new, another staff member stepped in to assist. I was initially told that insurance companies sometimes list services as covered on their websites when they are not. I was then told the $51 was part of my deductible and that my insurance only covered 80% of the sealant. I’ve been bringing my three boys here for over seven years, and this place truly feels like family. They always make us feel welcomed and appreciated, and they’re very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I highly recommend them!

Today was a first appointment for us here. Everyone from the front desk, the hygienist, Dr. Mindy, and checkout desk were friendly and answered all of My questions! We definitely plan on returning. If you were looking for a pediatric dentist with a friendly and inviting staff, don’t hesitate. On top of that they have a great small club if you don’t have dental insurance!
