Pediatric Associates Riverview

Our kids have been patients since 2018. We have been pretty satisfied with the care and really loved Dr. Williams and Wildcatt and were sad to see them go. We love PA Kober and it’s always a great experience whenever our kids are seen by him. I feel like my kids have grown up with him and he is very knowledgeable and kind. Our problem lately is the administrative side! It is totally unacceptable for me to walk in and find out the PCM our kids were assigned to has just retired and we were not notified. So, now I’ve been on the phone with my insurance for too long trying to get them put under a Dr. at the facility. For one Dr., our insurance told me she was not assignable as a PCM and the other I was told had inactive credentials. This is on you all to make sure things like that are up

The front desk staff is extremely rude and very dismissive when asking questions. The phone call service that I had while making the sick visit was unhelpful and was very quick to get me off the phone while making the appointments for two children. They seem to prioritize other patients over others. My children and I have waited almost a hour and have not been called back. This establishment used to be quick, kind, and caring but they’re far from that now.

I had my basic thoughts on this practice. The ridiculous amount of check ins required for one appointment to wait 40+ minutes past scheduled appointment times. Never seeing the same provider, just passing on a chart like a number. I work in medical, don’t get me wrong I understand some things run behind, staff is short, etc. It’s every single time. The lack of care and concern is beyond me. I chose not to vaccinate my child, yes, they still saw us. However, through all wellness checks, “all looks good” with half ass exams, to then hound me on vaccines. Come to find out my daughters hip has been dislocated, fully, since birth and not a single visit in 18 months has this been caught until it was brought up BY ME that she was tight one one side of her body versus the other. We loved Dr. Kober. He spent a lot of time educating us. However, when we arrived they no longer had our insurance in the system (I did not have the card) and the woman at the front desk was totally rude and unwilling to help. They have billed us 4 times this year so idk how hard it would be to find the policy number.

We had such a wonderful experience with Nurse Asia at our pediatrician’s office. She was not only kind and sweet but also incredibly patient with my two children. Asia took the time to explain everything clearly, made my kids feel comfortable, and handled the whole visit with so much care. Her gentle and helpful approach made what could have been a stressful appointment go smoothly. I truly appreciate the way she treated my children as if they were her own. We are very thankful for her! One of my favorite things is that I can rest assure that I will get the services I need when I stepped into this office because of her and I always do recommend other mothers to take their children here to this office because of how comfortable she’s made me feel.
