Pediatric Associates of Whidbey Island

From the very beginning, our experience with everyone at Pediatric Associates of Whidbey Island has been extremely positive. We saw a few different providers initially, but we chose to stick with Dr. Poyen as our daughter got older and I am so glad we did. She was always professional, kind and realistic, not to mention very knowledgeable and experienced with all things kid-related. She even called us once during the weekend with additional information she had found regarding my daughter's rare torticollis because she didn't want to wait til Monday! She is clearly very dedicated and cares a lot about her patients. The nursing and office staff all seem to care just as much. Our little one has been seeing her since birth and although our daughter hates going to the doctors (not the doctors fault!), Dr. Gasper and the staff are always very happy to see her and are very clear and concise about development, how she’s doing, and things to look out for. Can’t recommend enough!

Not only has our provider been wonderful but they are able to take same day appts. For sick kids when most practices now send you to urgent care which is miserable and they don't have experience with your individual child. We have been so happy with our experience.

Both my kids have been seeing DR Gladstone for the last 3 years and she is great. I also never had problems with staff or scheduling an appointment.

After our 3yr old son spent the day in the ER with croup, a few days later his symptoms began to worsen. We were visiting grandparents from out of state, long time residents of Oak Harbor ...and their local doctor recommended this practice. Not wanting to put our little guy through long ER waits again, we called hoping to have a doctor check his condition. As soon as they found out we were from out of town, they immediately gave us the cold shoulder, outright refusing to see our son since "they only wanted patients on a long term basis." The message was clear. Apparently money is more important than taking care of sick children. We would happily have paid whatever they needed to get over their insensitive policies.
