Update: the manager called me and explained the front desk worker was a temp and would not be welcomed back. She was super apologetic and very kind Initially, I would’ve given this dentist five stars. Dr. Shawn himself is a wonderful doctor. He is great with my kid, super friendly, and very caring. His front desk staff makes me want to give this a one star, hence the in between of three star review. The derogatory way the front staff woman talked down to me as I was asking simple questions was incomprehensible. She was rude and her attitude was disgusting. I hope she never has questions to ask someone because she acted like I was the problem for a mistake that the office made in billing. Amazing care, comfortable atmosphere and very informative staff. We've had great experiences since 2014 when we started going. My son loves going to see the dentist then hanging out to play for a moment. Can't say it enough to all staff - thank you for being a staff of people who love their job.

We were happy to find a Pediatric dentist that had availability for my kids aged 10 and 12. There are a shortage of pediatric dentists on Whidbey Island who offer services to new patients and offer Apple Health coverage. The kids loved the perk of a wide selection of gaming consoles in the lobby. The staff is kind and welcoming. We don’t mind the 40 minute drive from Freeland.

Besides friendly, on-time, and attentive, the absolute best thing about this place is that they meet your child where they are at. 2 year old that sits well and wants to be in the giant chair? Cool, they’ll do it. 6 year old who is most comfortable in moms lap? No problem. They’re experts at making the dentist a fun and rewarding experience for your kid. Add on an emergency number for nights and weekends and the willingness to actual answer and help, and it becomes a no-brainer to choose Dr. Peter and his team.

We have been coming to Dr. Peter for many years. He is so fun and helps my kids be at ease with their appointments. The staff have always been wonderful and kind too. I recommend this practice to people I know when they move here and need a wonderful pediatric dentist.
