Pediatric Associates of Dayton

The staff, front & back, is great. Dr. Darkwa is wonderful. She’s very personable, knowledgeable, efficient, & always makes sure any questions are answered. The nurse, Debbie, is amazing. She goes above & beyond. My only issue is it sometimes takes 10-20 minutes for the front desk to answer. It’s not them, it’s the system. There has to be a better way.

They don’t care about there patients. I don’t pull punches when it comes to my kid if my wishes are not followed you’ll definitely hear it. Making me wait almost a hour to see someone then take 25 minutes for her to get vaccinated to be vaccinated with one shot at a time. There are better doctors out there, keep looking it doesn’t matter the state, pediatric associates of anywhere are terrible.

Always able to get a visit scheduled when I call in. We don't have to wait a long time in the waiting room. The Doctors and staff always seem to care.

I just had the worst experience with this office. First of all, it took 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone. My neighbor highly recommended one of the doctors so I wanted to switch to her. And I'm sure she's a brilliant doctor. However, my kids are adopted and even though they are fully covered on my primary health coverage, because they have Medicaid as a secondary coverage, they will not see them. I explained to her that I can easily afford to pay anything out of pocket that my primary insurance won't cover. She said it's still a no. This seems very discriminatory to me and it doesn't really sound legal. I'm not knocking the doctors or nurses at this office, but the fact that it took that long to answer the phone and that they don't want to see my kids just because of a secondary

My son has been a patient of this practice since day one. We have seen multiple doctors and they were all great. No double billing, reasonable cost of non routine visits, most of the time there was little to no wait time if you had appointment. My son loved Dr rahe. We stayed with the office even after we moved 40 min away. We have moved to another state and we really miss this office. It's hard to find good pediatrician here and an office that won't mess up your insurance every time you visit. It was good while it lasted. Thank you for everything
