Do not take your children here. I’m a first time mom, and I took my son here for his 48 hour check up since being home from the hospital. First, they have no documents ready and we were 20 minutes early. We were the first appointment at 8:30am and still waited until after 9am to get into a room. When we got in the first room, they didn’t even have anything set up or new paper laid out where I needed to put him down. The nurse seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing and kept forgetting what she needed to enter in the computer. Every room is dirty with grime all on the walls and equipment. Called and scheduled a 930am appt at 1020am was still waiting. The front office staff is extremely rude. I don’t know if it’s because they are the only pediatric office in town but need retraining on etiquette and interaction. They charger 45$ if you cancel less than 24hrs from appt but they can’t see you with and hr of your scheduled appt. I am not a SAHM I have a job I can’t spend 2hrs at the drs for my kids 5min appt. Terrible experience and not my first.

3-4 years ago it was brought to my attention I had a bill that was 2 years old for $35, I couldn't pay all of it & the VERY RUDE lady at the front desk stated if it wasn't paid in full my child couldn't be seen after I offered to pay $5. When the billing department as she called it said it was ok as long as I paid something it made her so mad that without my knowledge she called the dr & the insurance company & had me banned from the practice. I have since had another child, who I might add is medically needy & on a respiratory machine 24/7 & I have even established care there. After the second appointment called me after I got home to ask me what the names of my other children were, when I gave them to her she said we have a problem, due to your behavior 3-4 years ago, you've been banned

Wonder if they have ever heard of Covid??? Sign on the door says you cannot enter without a mask, you must call from your car. Great, they are for sure handling this. Until you go in and no one on staff is wearing a mask!! Are you kidding me? They are dealing with sick children as well as newborns. No shields, no mask, no partitions, nothing. They are touching the kids to do blood pressure, etc. with no care or concern for the public’s health. There is another sign in office that says if you use foul language you will be barred from their practice. I have never seen this in any medical office I have ever been in. My son will be 3 years old tomorrow, and has been seeing Nurse Practitioner Sarah (although we call her Dr. Sarah because she is so knowledgeable) since he was one week old. He was a a month premature, but you would never know it now at 39 inches tall and 39 pounds! We love Macclenny Pediatrics, I would not even consider taking my son elsewhere. NP Sarah has been 100% accurate in all her diagnoses and advice. Anytime I’m concerned, I pick up the phone and the staff works us right in the same day. All of the staff members treat my son like he is the most important thing in the world, even though I know they have many other patients to attend to.
