Pediatric Associates Hollywood

We had an appointment for an ADHD evaluation for my 9-year-old with Dr. Dale Garber, MD, FAAP, and she was phenomenal. She was incredibly patient, kind, and caring, and truly took the time to listen and understand my concerns. Although there was a lengthy wait time, Dr. Garber made it completely worth the wait with the quality of care and attention she provided. We never felt rushed, and her approach put both my child and me at ease. Highly recommend.

I’m extremely disappointed with Elizabeth at this office. Communication was poor, and she was very dismissive, and I left feeling unheard and uncomfortable. As a parent, trust and professionalism are everything, and unfortunately I did not feel confident in the care or environment here. Based on my experience, I no longer feel comfortable bringing my children back. I strongly recommend other parents do their own research and trust their instincts before choosing this office.

⸻ I had a very upsetting experience at the front desk. I brought my baby to the emergency room with a high fever and was told I had to pay $94 or we wouldn’t be able to see the doctor. Later, the insurance company confirmed the correct amount was only $40, but the front desk staff still insisted on charging $94. When I asked about it after seeing the doctor, there was no apology and I was told I wasn’t overcharged, which wasn’t true. This was extremely stressful as a parent, and emergency care especially for a child should never be handled this way. We do appreciate most of doctors there ..

I can’t thank Ybelise Baez enough for being empathetic, kind and thoughtful. My daughter was at Pediatric asso on Sheridan st. Hollywood for vaccines and didn't drink/eat much that day. Ybelise went out her way to offer and give my daughter fluids to assure she would be ok. She deserves to be recognized for going ABOVE and BEYOND her job description! Thank you Ybelise!

I’ve been bringing both of my daughters to this pediatric office since they were infants, and we’ve seen the same doctor, Dr. Liza Ayuso, the entire time. She is absolutely amazing! Dr. Ayuso always provides thoughtful feedback, helpful instructions, and great suggestions. She’s kind, considerate, and very aware of cultural differences, which I deeply appreciate as a parent. She always takes time to encourage my children and make them feel comfortable. The staff is consistently friendly and professional, and while we had a small hiccup with another provider in the past, once we made sure to see Dr. Ayuso exclusively, everything has been smooth and wonderful. I truly love this office and can’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else!
