Pediatric Associates Altamonte

If I could give this place 0 out of 5 stars, I would. The doctors’ office switched to a new company, Pediatric Associates. It is now absolutely awful. You can never get someone in office on the phone. You are always transferred to a call center. I called one time to get the address to their new Apopka location, and the call center couldn’t even give me the address to the office! When I mentioned this at the office, I was told by the office staff that all I had to do to speak directly to them was ask to be directly transferred from the call center. I called to give an update on my son, who is still very sick and asked to be directly transferred to the Altamonte office. The call center said they aren’t allowed to do that and they have to put a message in for a call back. This is ridiculous.

The doctors are excellent. The process of scheduling or talking to the actual office is difficult. After confirming they could take out my child’s stitches during the visit they failed to communicate this with the doctor. Thankfully doctor Porter was amazing and we will continue going because of him. If you need an office that is good with communication this is not it.

My son has seen this office since he was born and have had no issues. Once they were bought out and become corporate everything went downhill. The office called to setup a well visit for my son we arrive at least fifteen minutes early had all the paperwork filled ahead of time. The time came and went for his appointment and wasn't called back. Waited another ten minutes and after watching other people who arrived after my son's scheduled appointment time go back before him I decided to cancel the appointment. The receptionist at the desk acted like them missing a scheduled appointment time was nothing wrong and I was being an ass for wanting my son to be seen on time. Do not recommend wasting your time with this place the corporation has ruined a place that used to be amazing.

Love Dr Harris and his nurses. I go there ONLY because of him and his clinical team. The check in process is insanely cumbersome and is not at all designed with the patient in mind. The upfront staff who greets, specifically the lady with short gray hair earns -.5 stars

We have been going to this clinic since 2020 when my twins were born. Dr. Harris is an amazing PCP, and we also love Amber & Kristen! Taylor at the front desk is also so wonderful as well as all of the nurses! All of my kids are known by name and they love going to see the clinic staff!
