Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine: Cecilia Andaya, MD

I love this pediatrics office so much! Every time I need to be fit in, they always fit us in. They interact with the kids well. The office is very clean. Every time I have an emergency the try their very best to help me. I just recently relocated an hour from this office but they are so wonderful I don't want to take my children out. Thank you all so much for helping me today. The front desk staff and nurses are really amazing. Both physicians are extremely knowledgeable and really make me feel like they truly care for my children!

Yesterday was our last & final straw coming to this office. My daughter has been going here for 3 years since she was born & had concerns with her gaining weight which I understand but I expressed why she lost weight due to her being sick & it raised some red flags with her growth chart because their was a dip due to a stomach bug. Dr. Aleksandra Stjepanovic Prescribed my daughter an appetite stimulant which she did not need, she didn’t have an appetite problem at all! I knew my child was fine but I was told to take her to a food therapy place & agreed to do so for them to tell me every week that my child was eating fine & was doing great.. after taking her to her check up yesterday it showed she gained 2 lbs which put her in the clear but then she tried saying my daughter has a lazy eye &

Number 1- my child had minor infection and missed school for 3 days so needed an excuse letter. Never in my 4 years of going to this pediatric office have I ever made an appointment and they have seen my child for excuse letter. Our usual pediatrician Dr. Halim sobia is nice. But she wasn't in and they made appointment with Dr. Andaya. The reason they gave for seeing child in office for excuse letter is they need records of child has been seen at office so they can give letter. Mind you they have changed entire staff and management apparently. This is just money earning trick so they can charge insurance. In 4 years anytime I have asked for excuse letter always mailed/ added to my documents for me to download. Number 2- Dr. Andaya is awfully rude. I waited an hour in just room to be seen.

Gave this office a try despite prior reviews. They were surprisingly prompt! I couldn't wait on hold so asked for call back and they did so within ten mins on a Friday after 4:30! Also, scheduled my children as new patients and they were seen in less than two weeks! Nurse was really kind and patient with my daughter who hates shots. Would recommend this office to anyone searching for fast, efficient healthcare for kids.

I have been using this clinic for my children for over 8 years, the doctors are extremely good, caring and professional specially Sobia Halim but the management and front desk is rude and unfriendly. The waiting time is insane, they will make you wait for hours even if you arrive on time. It will definitely take half of your day for a visit, they will make you wait and wait which is frustrating. It seems like they care less for your time. I wonder why would they schedule the patients if they can not accommodate.
