Peaceable Kingdom Animal Hospital

I unfortunately had to put my pet down last month. I have never had to do this before. Anya was my tech and she was so compassionate through the whole process and really took the time to kindly explain things to me so I felt as comfortable as I can be. I'd be happy to trust the care of my future pets to a place with care with her around.

This place was great until the only caring and compassionate doctor retired. Now all they have is money hungry veterinarians who only care about numbers and not the pets and their families. They’re the reason we had to put my cat down and it’s not just a “coincidence” that her health got worse when the good doctor retired. No one that cared about animals would tell an owner “yeah if she was mine i’d put her down”. That is and never should be the first and immediate option, and then for the only appointment available for euthanasia to be right before Christmas? How convenient. Only to then receive the ashes AFTER the holidays. How convenient. Oh, don’t forget the automated “sympathy” card that came in the mail. I have mixed emotions writing this because Dr Murphy is a great doctor in my opinion. I breed Persians and having a knowledgeable vet is important for the overall health, wellbeing and growth of my Cattery. Which as a breeder herself Dr Murphy definitely has! First let me say, this used to be my favorite practice and I loved Dr. Paul and Dr. Murphy. Since Dr Paul retiring, the service I have received for my babies has been less than adequate from the other Doctors. I would NOT recommend anyone to bring their babies here unless you're personally seeing Dr Murphy ONLY.
