I had an odontoplasty. My feedback for dr. Mcnutt would be to check in frequently with the patient so that not too much tooth is removed. He ended up taking more off than I would have liked, which is something that cannot be undone. I wish I would have raised my hand earlier but I was told he would check in & do it gradually. Otherwise I love the dental hygienists, they are great communicators and provide great education! Love Kayla especially 😊

They are wonderful, Caring & polite. They answer any of your questions. They have a sense of humor. Efficient and their cost blows Aspen out of the water for literally slightly below 1/2 the cost of what Aspen quoted for the exact same scenario. I recommend them to anyone needing good work, a caring group with no strange vibes weather you have the money or not. Very nice building, very large and spacious. Thank you so much,

I had a really traumatic experience at my last dentist (four crowns, no water, hot drill, not fully numb, four+ hours in the chair, not my regular dentist, no warning, to name just a few things). I have never had a fear of going to the dentist, but I didn’t go for a year because of it. At my very first appointment at Smiles, I was warmly welcomed by the front staff and my hygienist was amazing. Dr. McNutt came in for my exam and the first thing he asked me was “what can I do to make this a comfortable and safe experience for you?” Well…starting with that question was a great first step. On 1/5/2026, I called the office to make an emergency appointment for a broken tooth and extreme pain and swelling in my jaw and cheek. I emphasized that I was in a great deal of pain and needed seen as soon as possible. They were able to schedule me for 8 AM on 1/6/2026 and asked me to arrive 15 minutes early. So this morning, I drove 30 minutes from my home into Eugene, and as I was about to arrive, I received a phone call from the office telling me that the doctor wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t see me today. They said I could reschedule for tomorrow (but if the doctor is sick, won’t he likely be sick tomorrow, too) or drive another hour away to their other office in Lebanon. I love coming to this dentist office! My hygienist is the most caring and supportive person I've ever had the pleasure to work with. She makes me feel at ease and encourages my efforts on my road to better dental health 💕
