Dr. Hinder was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. From the extremely welcoming front desk staff to the hygienist and doctor himself, the experience was A++. I have a unique dental history but Dr. Hinder and his staff were able to discuss my case with me, assess the needs and put me on a path to success. It's not only the knowledge they brought to my situation (recommending multiple devices - and to find them on Amazon first!), but it's the comforting way they make you feel that was great as well. No upselling or shaming of your dental history, just positive, insightful advice and great care. Unless we move out of the area, we'll always be patients here.

This office is now Jax Pier Dental and Dr. Hinder and his entire staff retired (Everyone??). I went to Dr. Hinder for a couple of years, never had a bad experience. But this new office is a very different story. I show up for the 6 month cleaning and after Xrays and a peek in my mouth, I'm told I need a deep cleaning and medicine put down in my gums. The dentist came in and looked at the trays, but not so much at my actual teeth. I'll get a second opinion from a dentist I trust, before I let them do the $900 procedure. My husband had an appointment a few days before mine and was told he needed this deep cleaning because of his implants. I don't have implants. For 11 years I have been coming for dental cleaning to Dr. Hinder. Always has been a good experience but today was very different. I had X-rays done 2 years and 2 months ago and when I arrived for a routine cleaning, I was told I had to have X-rays done before a cleaning could happen. The total cost of the X-rays was $427. I have paid out of pocket for 11 years as my insurance does not cover dental. I was not given any advance notice of this even though I had booked the appointment well in advance. When I declined the X-rays (I have zero dental problems nor a family history of problems and it was barely over the 2 year mark) I was told by the dental hygienist I had to have new X-rays done and it was the law. I was a patient of Dr. Hinder for 15 years and always had a great experience. Not so with the new owners. They didn’t tell me that they are no longer an in-network provider with MetLife dental, as Dr. Hinder was, so I got stuck with a $140 bill for a cleaning.

I have finally found a dentist that makes me feel at home! From the assistant that answered my original call to the hygienist that took care of me , I give them all an A+. There’s a reason this outfit has close to 400 5 star reviews and zero negative. All equipment looks updated, clean and in like new condition. Speaks for itself!
