5 stars for Dr Calhoun. 0 stars for Baptist Primary Care North. I love Dr Calhoun she is incredible. I have loved seeing her over the last 8 years but unfortunately the office staff are terrible. She is patient, kind and caring and everything you want in a doctor. The office staff though are such a significant barrier to treatment that I’ve decided to look elsewhere for a doctor. The front desk staff are consistently rude and the medical assistants can’t be bothered to put orders in correctly then offer 0 apology for causing your prolonged suffering and wasting your time repeatedly. I had a message from the Dr that they would call me the following day with lab orders. 8 days later and I am still going back and forth with the office about actually sending the order. I could say a lot [not so positive] about Baptist (or their Records management, ShareCare). However, as this review is for Dr. Calhoun, she is the absolute best! I've been with since before 2015 (can't remember the exact year). I hated to have to leave her, but I needed to change insurances. She was also the pediatrician for my boys from birth until this year. She listens, I don't feel rushed, even when running behind; she always gives me the same attention she likely gave the patient before me. Dr. Calhoun's office/team has been great about working me, or my sons in when a same day or next day appointment was absolutely needed. Everyone in my family sees Dr. Calhoun. I started seeing her when I was 19 and am so grateful for her care. My mother has been going through cancer treatment and Dr. Calhoun texts my mother to check in on her and will review her charts with my mothers others doctors whenever she needs. Whenever I go to see Dr. Calhoun I know I may need to wait a bit but I know that’s because she isn’t rushing people out the door and takes time to understand what someone’s needs are and will answer each and every one of my questions. I am so grateful for the amount of care she shows me and my family. There are not many primary care doctors like her.

I’ve been a patient of Dr.Calhoun for 25+ years. Always very attentive, discusses her plan of action for whatever the case may be. Friendly, staff in office as well is wonderful. Yes, the wait can be long at times, but it is always worth it to feel like you have been well taken care. Love Dr. Calhoun! Miss you!
