Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Lancaster

The entire staff at this location was just awesome this past weekend. From the receptionist to the nurse, doctor, xray tech. Everyone was so friendly and executed their jobs flawlessly. I ended up having a recheck and some of the same people were working and they remembered me from the day before, asking me how I was feeling and just as nice and polite. I was given a warm blanket when I asked and allowed to lay down to catch my momentum before driving off. Very accommodating and friendly which was a bright light in the way I was feeling. Good work and happy to give a shout out!

Well maintained facility! Kept at a temp of around 72, and humidity at abt 43 percent I would assume, based off my internal thermometer & hygrometer, which is usually pretty accurate, they do not have books or seforim so bring your own, and the TV is begging to be upgraded, but overall it’s nice and spacious although it can get packed I’m told so I guess it’s all relative, seats have nice cushions and armrests and carpets are clean. Didn’t get a chance to try out their bathrooms so I can’t confirm what the matziv is, maybe I’ll be zoche next time!

Every step of my visit was conducted quickly & efficiently. I was impressed that the doctor remembered me from previous visits for the same diagnosis. It was encouraging to feel part of the practice even though I only use Patient First as my go-to urgent care. My thanks to all the staff, especially Dr. Knaub for her understanding of my pain & quick remedy to alleviate it.

I was in and out in no time. I walked in, I signed in with the receptionist. Few more minutes, I got called back, and triaged. Then brought to a room immediately. I asked for a strep test because my husband came back positive. I had similar symptoms. But I have a nasty cough, with a horrible headache as well. I waited maybe 10-20 minutes for the test to come back. The doctor came in and said it was negative. Took a listen to me and exam. Turns out I have bronchitis. I got medicine right there at the urgent care. They had a pharmacy and filled the prescriptions for me. I didn't have to go to my pharmacy. I chose to go to a Patient First facility because of the good online reviews. My overall experience lived up to the good reviews. Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful. The facility was clean with an interesting layout. I was able to receive X-rays on site. It took a little over a half hour for the X-ray result(s) but that is probably standard or even quicker than anywhere else you go. I also appreciated that no one pressed me about immunizations. I will always choose Patient First over any other urgent care. Delightful experience.
