Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Bowie

Dear Patient First Management, I am writing to share that my recent experience at your Annapolis Road Bowie location was nothing less than exceptional. Every stage of the process was handled by welcoming and caring staff. From the moment I arrived at the front desk, I was greeted with a smile and true empathy. What impressed me the most was the care provided by Donovan S. Young. When he welcomed my husband and me, we explained our situation, and he provided us with the best medical services a person could ask for. He listened to and addressed our concerns with genuine compassion, while providing valuable advice and feedback. I want to say a sincere thank you. I was Extremely pleased with my visit at Care First in Bowie today! Check in was easy, the staff was welcoming, professional and so kind. I felt totally at ease with everyone and the doctor and staff were excellent! I had a very short wait time and my diagnosis was timely. It was wonderful to get my prescription right there too. Every phase of my experience from registration to discharge was outstanding! Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, courtesy, displayed a sincere willingness to help and ensure I received top notch care and attention during my assessment and recommended care suggested once I returned home. I am extremely appreciative of the on-site care and discharge instructions I received. The Bowie facility should be utilized as a example for other Patient First and hospitals. Do not go to Veronica! She is the white nurse with dirty blonde hair who talks a million miles per minute! I went in with a sinus infection and she sent me home with nothing to treat it and told me to come back in 10 days. Really?! How did she get this job?!? Here’s more about my experience: My experience at urgent care was very disappointing. From the moment Veronica entered the room, her bedside manner was poor. She spoke very quickly, seemed rushed, and made me feel as though she was trying to get me out of the room rather than listen to my concerns. From the moment I arrived, I felt more like I was checking into a hotel than a medical facility 😃 The staff made me feel incredibly comfortable during a difficult time and consistently checked on me instead of leaving me unattended for hours. The physician was relatable and down to earth, and I left feeling so much better than when I came in. The entire experience — from intake to triage, the nurses, and the physician — was truly first class. Awesome staff!!!
