Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Bayview

Dr. Victor McGlaughlin was my attending. Presented with lingering, but worsening, cough about 6wk after pneumonia. Covid, flu tests, chest x-rays, and physical exam. Diagnosis, scripts and done ALL IN from 1st signing in until I have scripts in hand? 55 minutes! Amazingly thorough and compassionate.

The nurse Morgan I believe was her name very friendly and communicated very well. My doctor was amazing! I loved how she informed me of exactly all of her thoughts were and tests she needed. The fact that she requested a follow up even before results shows that she truly did care for my medical issue. I am so happy I chose to go to Patient First before the hospital. She took immediate care of what my concerns were and had results to me very quickly.

The wait time was pretty short for urgent care issues. The waiting room was clean and I was given the option to track my intake number through text which was nice. The intake person was manner-able and kind. The NA who took my vitals was also personable and kind, and the Physician Assistant who tended to my medical issue was also very kind, knowledgeable and reassuring. I was in and out in about an hour. I would recommend this location for sure.

It was really wonderful to have such caring people. Rosie was amazing. Compassionate, understanding and very re-assuring. I felt very well cared for from the beginning to walking out afterwards. Dr. McLaughlin was very thorough and took his time with me. Coming from Canada, I wish we had patient first in my country.

I was surprised by everything. The quick check-in, the short wait, the kindness of everyone. I really enjoyed talking to DeeDee, who checked me in. Empathetic, kind and sweet. Dr.Jennifer Watt covered everything I could think of that I needed, and was a likable person. (Doctors aren't always likable.) From waiting in the car to the brevity of every step, I was surprised and happy. I'd recommend this place to anyone. It's 24 hours later. I'm not perfect yet, but the meds feel like they're at least working on it!
