We recently moved to this practice from one where we could never be seen. We have been able to get same day sick appointments and we are communicated with in a very timely manner. Both doctors we’ve seen have been incredible. My son feels really comfortable with the staff. Best decision we’ve made to join the Parkwood family!

Excellent team of experienced doctor's. This practice has been trusted for generations. I went here as a child and now take my children here. Our family goes to Dr. Quinn, he is kind, patient, calm, and knowledgeable. We like all the doctor's in this office. They have early hour sick calls for those without an appointment. They have phone services that help answer questions and concerns. They sincerely care for the children and parents. Love this Charleston treasure and hope to send my grandchildren here.

I have been bringing my youngest daughter to Parkwood Pediatrics for the last eight years. With complex medical issues, finding a pediatrician that would go the extra mile to educate themselves on her condition and communicate with fellow medical professionals to provide the best care for her was imperative. Dr. Lauren Tipton has been phenomenal in providing the best care for our family. So much so that my other three children are also patients of the practice. Nurse Katie is exceptional. She makes all of my children feel welcome and comfortable during each visit. We have seen the other pediatricians during various sick visits, and they have all been wonderful as well. Dr. Smith is an amazing doctor. He is calm, thorough, and straightforward. Doesn’t make you feel rushed. Lucky my kids have him as their ped! Office staff and nurses are wonderful too. I drive 45+ minutes each way and it’s worth the trip.

This practice is a godsend for small kids. They can usually fit us in same day for a sick appointment and there is great continuity of care - they get to know us as a family. Dr. Tipton is super woman in my book - so wise as a physician and mom. I appreciate all the guidance she has provided. This practice is much more old school - where the doctors get to know you and watch your family grow. Highly recommend.
