Parks Pharmacy

I called to get some information about getting something filled for my son. The staff was rude and short with me. One lady said hold on and quickly put the phone on hold before I could even acknowledge it. Next thing I know someone else was on the phone, and I had to re-explain everything I just told the previous person. When I said I didn’t know she was passing me to someone else, the next person said “yeah”. If ever I needed another pharmacy in the future they wouldn’t get the business.

Parks Pharmacy is a nice small-town Pharmacy in North Augusta, SC. They are extremely helpful and friendly. Pharmacist Laura is especially nice. They also carry an array of items that are not prescriptions.

Today was a Snow Day in North Augusta . Also my emergency dental appointment.. Parks Pharmacy went above and beyond as always. Long story short, they closed early but called me to see if I needed my antibiotics. And when I called back 30 minutes later. He was still at Pharmacy and I got to get my relief with my antibiotics. I was a customer here for years, loved the friendly atmosphere, my kids loved the lollipops, everyone was so polite, sweet, and professional! Until today, however, when an employee called me a choice obscenity in the parking lot in front of my child because he said I parked too close to him, and "sorry" was not enough for him. I got the impression that this older gentleman might have been a couple pills short of a zpack, if you catch my drift; He stood behind my car to block me from leaving because he was not done lecturing me on how "disrespectful" my parking was and recorded me as I backed out to leave, all the while as I tried to explain to him my parking was not a personal vendetta. The staff was made aware of their employee's harassment and generally bizarre behavior, and did nothing

Two stars might overrate this over-priced pharmacy. The owner, I assume, referring to the older man, was NOT very nice to me. He is pushy, unfriendly, and didn't seem concerned with helping me. He appeared to only be interested in selling. The other employees are much nicer. I was making arrangements for upcoming surgery so I purchased a transition chair which didn't work out. I returned in within hours, and he became quite annoyed because two legs were adjusted lower than the other two. It was not damaged in any way. He acted like he didn't want to accept it. I adjusted it right there. When I bought it, they clearly said I could return it if it didn't work out. He began pushing other items, and I did end up purchasing another item, but will not use them again. I had to get things
