Parkdale Pharmacy

I never write reviews but as a diabetic on insulin, I called this pharmacy to make sure I had my insulin ordered before it was due. When I requested that, the pharmacist promised it would be in stock. But when I called to pickup on my due date, they said they still had to order it. Which I expected because this usually happens with this pharmacy, they only order the med when it’s due for that day and not early, even though I asked for them to do that for me and they said they would. Next time I come in to pickup, I ask for the med, and they all look at me like this is the first time they’re hearing of it. Turns out it’s on backorder. They have a list of mail carriers that could be dropped off in their pharmacy store but don’t actually accept them. A waste of time and false advertisement.

Great family owned pharmacy! I’ve had such a hard time with other pharmacies and the quality of their meds and manufacturers. I have to say this is the best small pharmacy I’ve used since my medication shortage began. And they accept Medicaid! Thank you!
